As you browse through our growing portfolio of earthen floors, you’ll soon notice that we rarely stop at installing a durable, functional clay slab. in fact, our earthen floors are often works of art in their own right, combining the leather-like finish of clay with the primal beauty of slate stone or the smoothness of river stone pebbles.
We seal each of our earthen floors thrice with natural linseed oil, and then again with your choice of beeswax or perilla oil. That means that every Fermata-made earthen floor is not only rich and lustrous in appearance; it is also smooth, comfortable and waterproof.
