Explore Natural Building examples across Ontario Oct 5

Experience the look and feel of some unique green buildings during the popular annual province-wide Natural Homes Tour, Sunday October 5th, 10AM to 4PM.

Evolve Builders founder Ben Polley (60 Manitoba Street, Guelph) will be among participants in Guelph, Cambridge and Muskoka who are welcoming visitors to explore examples strawbale, adobe, and cob construction. Directions and tour details are available at www.naturalbuildingcoalition.ca A $10 passport provides admission to as many of the 40 places across the province as you can visit in the day.

This tour is the perfect opportunity to step right inside some unique buildings, see what they are like, and get honest feedback from the owners about all aspects of their homes. The structures feature many “green” technologies, including adobe floors, greywater recycling, composting toilets, clay plasters, green roofs, natural finishes, alternative energy and more innovations.
